Laura DiPietro grew up in Miami, FL, and is currently based in Los Angeles, CA. She studied at Florida State University, where she received her BA in Studio Art. DiPietro’s work consists of oil paintings on canvas or panel, as well as watercolor, gouache, and ink paintings. Her paintings combine structural, architectural forms with organic figures to create surrealist environments and portals. She experiments with color interaction, light, and dimension to identify the fantastical worlds & people she portrays. DiPietro has exhibited from the East Coast to the West Coast, and continues to paint & work in Los Angeles.
